Thank you so much for visiting my website.
This site gives a flavour of the silk screen print works which I make in “Studio Alastair”
Since October 2015 we have been turning a tired, dusty old stone holiday house into our proper home. It has been hard – what with learning a language and how to be part of a new country – but we have done what we can afford to do and a new studio has been created within the best bit of a tumbly-down barn. The first new work – a nuthatch – was made in late June 2016. We are now ‘open’ again!
VISIT this HOME page for regular updates.
THE WEBSITE WILL BE UPDATED FROM TIME TO TIME. MY E-MAIL ADDRESS REMAINS :- AR_starlings1@hotmail.com
Louise & I are now actively looking to re-establish our business. This will take time as we find our markets in our new area. We can sell cards here on this website. If you are interested in original pictures it is best to e-mail us to enquire because we have already sold works from here and posted them off!
Keep watching this website. It will be as up to date as we can make it – given the re-adjustment to a new life and lifestyle. Do not under-estimate the impact of this. France may sound idyllic as an idea; but remember that a total life change is a rather different thing to a whim. Living in a foreign country is very different from occasional trips to a holiday house!
In the ISLE of WIGHT visit KU Gallery on Church Hill where Kimiko and Suzy sell our cards and some reproductions of Isle of Wight works.
Cards may still be found in NITON COUNTRY STORES with thanks to Paula who also has a picture or two and at ‘SELECTIONS’, Victoria Street, ALDERNEY with thanks to Angie.
#### CARDS are available online from us.
We hope you still enjoy browsing the rest of this site and if there’s anything you need to ask please do so, we will still respond and update enquirers :- Alastair and Louise.
